

Katy- May Maurice has wandered the world picking up experience & inspiration in every place she has lived and travelled; from her time living in the South of France, the UK & Japan, to travels through North & South America, India, Nepal and sailing through the Mediterranean, the Caribbean and French Polynesia her contact with such a vast diversity of cultures and styles has culminated in her having a broad palette at her disposal. With early training in Fashion Design and Visual Arts as well as Sustainable Development there's a broad underpinning of education & skills that Katy-May brings to her passion for interiors and design. Ever since she was very young Katy-May has been obsessed with creating amazing spaces, constantly rearranging her family and friends' homes (whether invited to or not), a compulsive habit that has informed a career.
Katy-May now lives and works with her husband, renowned blacksmith, sculptor and painter Alex Scheibner in Rylstone NSW, where alongside Belford projects, they create custom pieces for interiors, exteriors and gallery exhibitions. Both multi-disciplinary artists, Katy-May & Alex have a breadth of skill that allows for unique customisation of all projects they take on.
